1. Who we are
BrawlQR.com ("we", "us", "our") is an independent fan website that aggregates Brawl Stars QR codes. We are not affiliated with Supercell Oy.
2. What data we collect
We collect minimal data to operate the site:
- Language preference — stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your language choice between visits. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
- IP address (for language detection) — on your first visit, we make a single request to ipapi.co to detect your country and suggest the correct language. We do not store this IP address ourselves. Please review ipapi.co's privacy policy for their data handling.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4, tag ID: G-3TDMPEV7PK) to understand how visitors use the site. See section 3 below for full details.
3. Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
BrawlQR.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — the current standard analytics platform by Google. GA4 collects the following data automatically when you visit the site:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP — IP address itself is not stored by GA4 by default)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- How you arrived at the site (e.g. search engine, direct link)
- Events such as clicks and page scrolls (aggregated, anonymous)
We do not use GA4 to collect your name, email, Supercell ID, or any personally identifiable information. We only use GA4 to understand which pages are popular and how the site is used in aggregate — this helps us keep the site updated and relevant.
GA4 data is processed by Google LLC. For full details, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data practices.
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. What data we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your Supercell ID, Brawl Stars tag, or any game account information.
- We do not require you to create an account or log in.
- We do not collect email addresses unless you voluntarily contact us.
- We do not sell any data to third parties.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use localStorage (not cookies) for two purposes:
- Language preference (
brawlqr_lang) — remembers your selected language between visits. Device only, never sent to our servers. - Cookie consent record (
brawlqr_consent_v2) — stores your privacy choices (accepted/declined, timestamp, consent ID). Expires automatically after 6 months, after which we ask for your preferences again. Device only, never sent to our servers.
Google Analytics 4 may set cookies (such as _ga, _ga_*) only if you have accepted analytics cookies. These cookies distinguish anonymous sessions and do not identify you personally. Duration: up to 2 years. You can opt out at any time via the Cookie Settings link in our footer, or via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Cookie Consent & Your Choices
When you visit BrawlQR.com for the first time, a cookie consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can:
- Accept All — enables Google Analytics 4 anonymous tracking.
- Reject All — declines analytics cookies; GA4 does not load.
- Manage — granular control per category (Essential / Analytics).
Your choice is saved for 6 months. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking 🍪 Cookie Settings in the footer of any page. Refusing analytics cookies has no effect on your ability to use the site — BrawlQR.com never uses a cookie wall.
Essential cookies (language preference, consent record) are always active as they are strictly necessary for the site to function.
7. Third-party links & external services
BrawlQR.com contains links to external websites including the Supercell Store (store.supercell.com), official Brawl Stars links (link.brawlstars.com), and unlock instruction pages. When you follow these links, you leave BrawlQR.com and are subject to those websites' own privacy policies. BrawlQR.com is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
8. Code availability — no warranty
All QR codes and reward links on BrawlQR.com are official codes released by Supercell. BrawlQR.com does not guarantee the availability or validity of any code and assumes no responsibility for codes that have expired, reached their redemption limit, or been deactivated by Supercell at any time without notice.
9. Children's privacy
BrawlQR.com is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
10. Your rights (GDPR & other regulations)
European Economic Area & UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time — use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
California, USA (CCPA/CPRA): BrawlQR.com does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not collect personal information as defined under CCPA beyond anonymous analytics data (if consented). California residents may contact us at privacy@brawlqr.com for any privacy requests.
Brazil (LGPD): Brazilian residents have rights equivalent to GDPR under Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados. Contact us at privacy@brawlqr.com for any requests.
Canada (PIPEDA / Law 25 Quebec): We collect only the minimum data necessary (anonymous analytics, with consent). You may withdraw consent or request deletion by contacting privacy@brawlqr.com.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of BrawlQR.com after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
